Hide - Poem by Jennifer Kilby

Farewell world
Farewell the ones I love
No longer could I hide from the drugs
They have taken every inch of me
I can no longer be free
I gave in so long ago
They my body can no longer let it go
I can not pretend that I care
About all the bull shit that is in the air
Everyone that said they cared is no longer there
The few I have loved have walked away
Because of my drugs
I lost control and they let me go
Tossed me aside
Because all I do is Hide
