Hide And Seek Poem by Mayjorey Dellosa Buendia

Hide And Seek

Let’s play a game called “Hide and Seek”
Count 1…2…3 then knees gone weak
Game now? I’m over here
Nah, I can’t now…then your voice disappear.

Fine now…it’s okay
Kinda irritatin, still, i’m up to play
Anxious to hear your howling laughter
Once i see you…i’ll hug you after.

Again…game now? I’m ready to go
I can’t still have something to do
Now, now i’m bein frustrated
Balloons of patience now gettin deflated.

Should i stop countin? i dunno…i dunno
Should i continue waitin? i dunno…i dunno
Face down on the dirt…
Stop! Enough of this ____.
