I love this poem, Tiff. You honestly have a talent for writing, you know how to capture audiences, word after word and i hope you keep writing because it would be sad if you lost this talent.
The poem starts off just like anyone else's freshman year. You did a really good job of capturing the hopes of a newcomer to high school, comparing it to a movie was perfect. You also caught the struggles and heartbreaks, as well as pressures, of any teenager. As a reader, the emotions are always felt with every new stanza. The ending left me a little bitter sweet just like the end of senior year. The flow was geat. There was no rythme sceme which may have contributed to the moments where it felt slightly sporadiic, but yet again so is high school. It still held its ground and had very strong moments.
