Higher Order Poem by Nirmal Kumar Thapa

Higher Order

When you identify yourself, with pure gratification,
You can also distinguish you're the unpredictable thoughts;
You discern what is good or awful
You differentiate between those events;
Were upright,
And these are bad, This is a fragmented perception
Of the wholeness of life,
Where everything is unified;
Every event spots its necessary place
And function within the totality,
However, is there something flourishing, over the façade's appearance?
Above the sum total,
More than whatever you count on your life;
Or the world overflowing with?
I remembered the beautiful express,
The Zen saying-"The snow falls,
each flake in its appropriate place
"We can never understand
This high-order through our meager thoughts,
We think about it with content zeal, Whereas,
the Higher Order emanates,
From the formless realm of consciousness;
From universal intelligence,
But we can glimpse it, And more than that
Align ourselves with it;
Be conscious player, in the unfolding of that higher purpose.
Then you may identify, the secret matters;
Like early birds sing far from the boundless sky,
Just echoes of self-realization;
For the single one,
Yes, there are lieus to live with smile,
With a giggling laugh,
Amidst, the self-styled mod sky scrapers!
