Highschool Poem by Chey Tru Love

Highschool

Wish my body stayed in bed
Hoping the alarm wouldn’t ring
As I stepped outside to the car
I was dressed
But maybe I wanted my father to stay at the house
But he came
For one i was glad
Having my daddy beside me
But as I got out of the car
Soon the yellow on wheels took me away
All new faces like a new born baby
And none I had ever seen
I kept quiet cause I was fresh meat
At any second I could’ve been food
I got off and faced the jungle in the concrete
I wonder if I could survive because
For the next four years
This was it! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
