Hills Over Us Poem by Ervie Noblesala

Hills Over Us

We’ve been before in this dark blood-spattered place!
We’re one doing monkey business.
What we gonna do to cheat death?
Hills were over us to loss our breath…
Let’s break this ice and brush aside what we feel something bad…
Be the cream of the crop!
Never feign what’s beating inside…
Just keep our head above water!
Lean an ear what’s ringing up there.
Never stop believing what we think is real…
Make these hills under water!
Someone’s pulling us down…somebody’s slashing us here one by one…
Shout it out if things go wrong…
I’ll be there to carry in all that I can bring.
We wanna threw these burdens through the year…
But bottleneck is everywhere! To crash out what may become.
Don’t look back! Face upside! Time flies, we’re one…
We’re one of these hills above water.
