Himalayan Shair Poem by Anjali Paul

I composed this while I was exploring the Himalayas in October and November 2017. In the video I am reciting it in colloquial Hindi.

Pure Hindi Version:
Jawani ki khubsurati chalejati hain; hum sare buddhe ho jathe hain.
Dil ki khubsurati chamakthi rahethi hain jab thak hum mur jathe hain.

English Translation:
The beauty of youth fades; we all get old by and by.
The beauty of the heart shines on undimmed until we die.
