His Name Was James - Poem by T.J. Daniels
We never met
but I knew
that his time was short.
I know that he had a strength
that many of us wish we had.
Because he had to face
decades too soon
the fate that we all must face.
But most of us will have many years
to prepare for...
The fate that we all must face
in the end.
(2001/This poem and the one titled 'THE STRENGTH OF ANGELS' were both inspired by James and his heroic and tremendous battle.)
