Yesterdays Songs - Poem by T.J. Daniels

I hear the songs of yesterday
when love was new.

It doesn't hurt
to listen anymore
as it once did
when it was just me and you.

It's still the same for me
but it's me

without you.

And isn't that feeling all too true....Succinctly refletive piece & well done....Solid Work, T.J.

Very few words that express a very true love, yet a sadness remains for the one left behind. Another wonderful poem T.J.--Melvina-- (Report)Reply
