His Scent Poem by Sarah Barron

His Scent

She is as strong as god has sent to stand her ground to no further bend. What is that breaks her to the end, it is his scent in her bed. Tis is what brings her to bend, drop & weep in her bed. His scent, his scent she could not forget as she placed her head where he once slept. Dear lord I beg you please let me forget this wonderful scent that reminds me of love so sweetly once spent. Dear lord please help me stand straight & firm again, send me forward on the path without bend. Do you wish me to fall to my knees to make me know how truly love is meant be? His scent, his scent reminds me of love so sweetly once spent.
