What is history?
I saw history
In the digging of earth
And the foundation stone coming out
As the small bricks and lime clay plasters
Taking me to yore,
The plasters and small bricks of the mansions
Dilapidated and abandoned,
The Vishnu terracotta temples, Shiva terracotta temples,
Mahaprabhu temple, Shitala temple.
