Hit By The Waves.. Poem by Deepak Calyampoondi

As i close my eyes i do not sleep,
for worst are my memories, so i weep,
my dearest one's are no more near,
just seconds ago, they were all here.

A wave of happiness did sweep our past,
but fortunate moments do not last,
bitter are my tears, no one to share,
will i ever find someone who really cares.

I cry out loud, loud from my heart,
why did those waves drift us apart,
If only the GOD knew, how we were,
He would'nt have sent those waves that scare.

I try to forget, but i forget not,
the love of my family which i got,
why must the waves from the ocean,
destroy god's own creation?
Is there any reason,
why have i lost all my sons?

If it were to happen, why only on earth?
Or was it a devil's plan,
Not to spare Japan..
