Hold My Hand Poem by Tsholofelo Mosielele

Hold My Hand

Wathi kum
Intomb'enhle bamba izandla zam
Let me lead you to
A whole world of required love
To a garden of untamed love

Are ho nna
Ntshware ka seatla moratua
Let me usher you to an enchanted place
Where fantasy meets reality
For words are yet to be found to describe your beauty
They say beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder
But you my love
Mon amour you are the template of beauty
The root of all that glitters and shines
So intrinsic it matures with time
Like wine the older it gets the better it gets

He said to me
Hold my hand
Let me soothe your soul
Silence your heart tremors
Restore your smile
Retain your hope in love
Love that is destined to be your adornment
Adornment for your soul
He said to me
Hold my hand
I promise to hold yours tighter
And he did just that
He held my hand

Hold My Hand
