Holding Patterns Poem by Jordan Victoria St. Cristi

Holding Patterns

There is a certain weight
In the wait of loving you
Waiting for you to hold me
Is holding me down
and only in purest moments
When holding is withheld
am I able to bring myself upright
Belly open to the sky
To sing out my birth right
Until suddenly
and without notice
I am holding once again

for love
