Holocaust Poem by Eli Myers

Holocaust

Rating: 5.0

Many years ago,
when we had no right to say no,
we were shoved into camps,
and stripped down to our pants,
Mothers crrying, Nazi's smiling,

How can we forget?

My son was sent to the 'shower'
As Hitler gained more power,
He never returned,
as his little body was burned,
He was lying in the rain,
going through eternal pain,

How can we forget?

Its 1945,
am I dead or alive,
babies crying,
bodies piling,

How can we forget?
