This Daedelian image in thy solemn mien,
of Andromeda Galaxy, BX 442,
has but a star fixed in the constellations,
a broken shaft's feathered mast at north,
that grows by goosebumps of e'ery pouring shadow;
and an imprint of forfeited dark
through thine holy eyen!
feeds upon a hundred moths a day,
sunburnt dream of the world
to illumine in ecstasy of love,
around the lamp of elliptical illusions.
