The grandest thanks I give
To that Society in which I live
For the station I have attained
The wealth I have retained
Not asked to suffer like foreign places
Just look at all their jagged faces
Oh! Society in which I live!
To thee! To thee! To thee, I give!
The greatest leaders, or not the worst
Is proof we're blessed as opposed to cursed
The peace we bring throughout the Earth
Further exalts our perfect worth
Our priceless styles or worthless faults
Fill the treasury of our hearts
With love, some what obsessed
I give to thee my very best
Whether poverty or middle class I'll fill that vacant space
To gain your love and your trust hoping for your grace
And when at last you finally grow in virtue and compassion
I know then it will be the time to receive my proper ration
Tis' this chance you give to me and my life I give to thee
Oh! Thank you, thank you, thank you my dear society!
