Home Poem by Lilian Nash

Home

My home is in the mountains
Far beneath the sky
With views across the valley
The place where I shall die The years have gone but happy ones
The children fled the nest
I am alone, but this my home
Is where my body rests The laughter and the tears have passed
The rooms are empty know
My thoughts and memories all will last
For the love that I have known. Its sad to say as we grow old
Our life is short but sweet
How we live our life is told
One day by God we'll meet.
