Home Poem by Matthew McDougal

Home

Home,
They say it is a place to hang your hat,
That your home is your castle,
And there is no place like home,
Home sweet home,
This is true, but there is more to it,
They say it is where your heart is,
So when your heart has room to spare,
Home need not be just one place,
It can be anywhere you want,
Your place of comfort,
Where you can find your peace,
It can be found in a memory,
Or in conversation with an old friend,
Wherever and whenever you have need,
Home is always there,
Right where you are.
