I've often wondered,

where home was,

and why did it matter so much to me?

And the nights pass

the days go by,

and I keep looking at the sky,

trying to figure out life,

but you see I try too desperately,

and the sky refuses to speak to me.

There are no walls between us,

there never can be,

because I loved you,

and past the questions,

past the judgement,

past God,

that love shall always be.

Filling up the voids of distance

between you and me.

The memories will go,

like words omitted from a dictionary,

the gardens will go,

the tress will go,

the mountains will go,

I will go.

But I find peace,

in knowing,

that my love for you,

will stay,

as the silent emptiness does,

when everything is ruined.

Ishq se jaa nahi koi khali,

dil se le arsh tak bhara hai ishq. ~Mir Taqi Mir
