Home Will I Return Poem by Kumolu S. Ayowale

Home Will I Return

A departure from my secured bed,
All in the name of dirt and filth,
To pursue other homes without roof,
Just in the construction process,
By another diligent builder.
My new home suits me,
Yet the Rain and cold beat me.
A whip from nostalgic feeling.
A home I left without rethink,
With this feeling, I must retreat.
I will return to my home,
My abode, my true Possession,
To make up for its lost glory,
And to Dwell, never to part again.
