Homesick Poem by Kelli D. Williams

Homesick

I miss the wind blowing my hair
I miss the honey in the air
I miss how you were always there
And the stars that shined everywhere
I'm homesick

I miss the music of the night
I miss the moon that shined so bright
I miss how you would hold me tigh
And how my life felt right
I'm homesick

I miss the mountains and the trees
I miss the animals running free
I miss how you could always see
And how happy you made me
I'm homesick.
