15 Things I Want - Poem by Kelli D. Williams

I want to decide what I do
Not hide behind you
I want to laugh and be happy
Not sad and blue
I want to be with my family the whole day through
And I want to be with my friends to
I want to walk on the beach
And keep my goals in reach
I want to walk in the door
And not be sad anymore
I want to kiss you in the moonlight
And hold you through the night
And I want it to feel right
But above all these things I want to do
I want to come home
And not feel all alone with you.

Sounds as though there may be a little controlling by someone in this poem. You are right, you need your space and so does he. Stand true to your goals and reach out for them. Good write. (Report) Reply
