Honestly, Now Iam Honest Poem by Vamshi Durgam

Honestly, Now Iam Honest

Wearied of the failures of my life
Peeved of chaotic relationships
Annoyed of malice spreading all over world
Brassed off with my education and life

Reached my mother
Verbalized my pain
She smiled at me
And proferred a book

Engrossed in to it
Explored the beauty
Fascinated with the greatest triats
Adjudged that every human must own

Ideal Life
With many odds
Comparatively, my odds
Are just not odds.

Ideal Son
Sacrificed his kingship to obey his father
Left to forest for his father
Now, I learnt to listen & obey my father

Ideal brother
Gave love and care to his brother
Was ready to give crown to younger brother
Not like we fight for petty things with brother.

Ideal husband
Principle of one arrow and one wife
Having one true love in life
Throwing aside present day 'breakup' strife.

Ideal man
Of honesty
Compassion
Wisdom
Righteousness

Mesmerised with the book
Absorbing Lord Rama's
Greatest traits of honesty
And Truthfulness.

And the book is 'Shri Ramayana'
Honestly, Now I turned out honest.

Honestly, Now Iam Honest
