Honey Preachers Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Honey Preachers

Whatever honey preachers teach
However much refined
Though countless ears, sweet words reach
Sheep deceived, stay blind

For this! Preachers will stand God’s trial
With sinners far and wide
Too late with truth to reconcile
With Christ’s lost sheep denied

Prosperity Preachers too will fail
When failing to repent
Forever bound in Satan’s jail
With devils, they’ll be sent

False Prophets, will join these villains too
This wicked wayward band
Deceiving Jesus’ chosen few
Bound for The Promised Land

But Christ is God The Saviour
Of children such as these
Even with such behaviour
They too may bend their knees

Repenting still while times at hand
Changing the way they live
Before life’s Judge they come to stand
Heaven may still forgive

So come you rogues in sheep disguise
Scoundrels of ill repute
Let Heaven’s Word open your eyes
To bear sweet righteous fruit

God’s children, give milk fresh each day
Meat, to make grownups strong
Details revealing Heaven’s Way
Singing Salvation’s song…..
