Honeybee Poem by Mohammad Younus Bhat

Honeybee

Hymenopterious Honey bee
What a creature you are!
You flutter among the flowers
And feed on pollen and nectar
You suck chamomile and rose
And produce sweet honey
But I use my eyes and ears
Only to fill the vessel of soul Ephemerally
I do not assimilate good and bad
I am not like you
I am cobra
that sprinkles poison far and near

I sprinkle poison far and near
As I am Cobra
I am not like you
I do not assimilate good and bad Filling the vessel of soul ephemerally
I use my eyes and ears
You produce sweet honey
regardless of sucking chamomile and rose
You feed on pollen and nectar
And flutter among the flowers
What a creature you are! Hymenopterious honey bee
