We fell in love that old fashioned way
Drunk on hormones and lusts gay parade
struck by saccharine folly like a couple of saps
Dehydrated by logic in game of thirst traps
Acting like the world was our private musical when it was pantomime on pharmaceuticals
Our passion was fashion for heartless romantics
Desperate affections of bipolar antics
Convincing ourselves that we were true soulmates
When it was only our organs that made us cell mates
Oh there was fire, but it burned like a candle
Leaving ourselves which we could never handle
Little things marked the spots to our endless feuds
Dirty dishes piled up and spiraled vicious moods
Conversations bloomed into a game of cat and mouse
That left us as the inmates in our private Madhouse
Recklessly we built our love on a house of cards
Now we have to watch it fall and leave us with the scars
Had Romeo and Juliet live long to see their flaws
They need not having worry about their crazy in-laws
But that's what you get from the honeymoon daze
The tinted glasses break and your obsessions just a phase
