Hood Rat: Jada Pinkett Smith Poem by Bryan Corbett

Hood Rat: Jada Pinkett Smith

Rating: 5.0

ironically, and profoundly
practiced in the art of
separatism…
this just in from the Hills
of Calabasas where her home
literally has its own Zip Code:
"Should people of color refrain from participating altogether? "

and it begs
the rhetorical question:
Jada, are the visitors to your own home
mostly black, or
mostly white?

you can take
the rat
out of the hood

but you can't
take the hood
out of the rat
