Hope Poem by Akkan Turgu

Hope

Oh I'm in that dark cozy red club
Sitting around a round little table
Of course drinking something
The glass looks like martini, but I hope not.
Listening to my favorite band
Playing softly, jazz like, but I hope not.
I'm dressed, I even have a tie
Waiting for the long white skirt
Slit in the middle all the way up.
She looks old like me, but I hope not.
Why there is nobody around
Is no one able to cry like us
There is no sound of any claps
Is the song about to end, I hope not
