Hope's Budding Poem by SORBARI BOHR

Hope's Budding

Rating: 4.0

Waters flow down like rivers
Cos I have found true beauty
With hopes in this charming golden Lilly,
Promises of a lifetime thus made.

Waters flow down like rivers
Cos I am troubled and my strength weakens
With eyelids wide open, I do not see
Agitated I am, yet I cannot speak.

Waters flow down like rivers
Cos days of long ago, thoughts keep pondering
With conviction things went wrong
And my priceless Lilly withered in a jiffy.

Waters flow down like rivers
Cos patched ground shall bring forth waters
With knowledge I am the bud
And she is my flower of hope.
