Hopeless Romantics Poem by Christian Harrison

Hopeless Romantics

She smiles so pretty!
But it's easy to see
I'm smitten with her,
And she's playing with me.

The ring of her laughter
Thrills my poor heart
That burns with her kisses
And stills when we part.

I'm a love-drunk man,
I'll freely admit!
Quick is my passion,
And slow is my wit.

So I pray that she loves me
If not now, please lord soon.
Until then I'll just wait
While I dance to her tune.
