My hopes were high,
My dreams were big.
I promised you the world,
And was determined to deliver.
If ever I risked everything,
My life was put out for you.
Knowing I could never feel for anyone,
Like I felt for you.
I sold my soul for your happiness,
You know not how much I care.
I could not go through life without you,
I wouldn't even dare.
