Hopes Left In Doubt Poem by Anton Edwards

Hopes Left In Doubt

roads untaken
existence forlorn
memories faded
children unborn

friendships forgotten
books left unread
photos unsorted
confessions unsaid

vows not given
praises dismissed
scores left uneven
lovers unkissed

wisdom unshared
worlds unexplored
convictions unaired
music unheard

gifts undelivered
traces unleft
sins unforgiven
orphans unfed

hopes left in doubt
vessels unfilled
meaning unfound
life unfulfilled

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
having regrets is a regrettable path to follow. so many do..

yet, it's not a road, it's merely one's fearful retrospection of not having found the path.

this poem is my way of making a vow.. not to miss the joys of the amazing brilliant joyful LIFE.
