Hot and cold
You go through life
Never committing
To anyone but you
Your selfishness pathetic
A dark bruise left on innocent hearts
You let them in
Then shut them out
Never feeling their confusion
Never caring
Always running
Always seeking
But you never love
The chase is what intrigues you
not the catch
Your eyes devour
Then you leave again
Your trail of destruction
long and brutal
Hot and cold
