How could you not even try?
How could you not even care?
Too concerned about your ego
Talking to me, something you would not dare

Glance left to right
Glance up and down
But never spoke a word to me
Because I don't have a crown

Never would you stand apart
Never would you take a leap
Falling in love is something you fear of me
For that my heart you shall not keep

Running from an opportunity of greatness
Running from a chance of right
Escape the pressure of our peers
End the fire before it sparks, before appears the light
