How A Poet Lives Part 1 (Good Morning) Poem by Bron Dayvid

How A Poet Lives Part 1 (Good Morning)

Why?
Why did I wake up this morning?
Why did I open my eyes?
How can I continue to live when I child dies
I can care less how my eggs are cooked
Or how this tie looks
Or the weather mans forecast
Regardless of what your clouds say
Rain is in my future present and past
Mother Nature her thunder wakes me late at night
And her tears flood my dreams
Drowning me I hold tight
To a sinking boat I scream
To no avail
For no one can save me
But continue to yell
For my baby
I may never raise a son
So every morning I watch it rise
And pray to god
That my child is also in the sky
