TELL me that you have
crossed the bridge connecting
what is real from the unreal

tell me that you have touched
what i have not
that you are as happy as the
boundless sea

my eyes may have been deceived
and bloated in that search for
all these illusions

tell me that you have reached
the summit of my disbelief
that apex of all successes

i am not a fool. i was not born
yesterday and i must tell you
straight from my eyes: i do not
believe you.

how could i? tell me, how could i?
