How Did You Do It All, Mom?
How did you do it all, Mom?
For all the things you did for me,
You were a teacher, a helper, and everything to me.
You've always been there for me, from the very start.
You gave me your love, your kindness, straight from the heart.
You could have left me, abandoned me, but you chose to stay.
How could I ever repay you for the home you gave me,
one I never deserved in any way?
How did you do it all, Mom?
When I had dark days, you made me smile.
When I thought everything was impossible,
When I needed you most, you made life worthwhile.
You gave up your life to make mine shine.
How can I repay such love, so pure, so divine?
I will love you forever, no matter what.
You were the most wonderful mother,
And you will always mean the world to me.
How did you do it all, Mom?
I never understood why you had to go,
But now I realize a mother's love will always flow.
You had a good life, and now you're watching me do my part.
I know I need to let you go,
But rest in peace, knowing I said thank you.
And just know, I will always love you.
