How do you tell a glass that it's broken?
When all it wants to do is shatter and break
How do you come back from the edge of the cliff
When all your life you've been kissing carrion skin
Can love be digital? can we separate the pages?
Can we really detach feelings from ages and faces?
How do you tell someone there's meaning in life?
To ashes we fall and from ashes we rise
How do you get past the bleak of the horizon?
Build a nuclear bunker to store all the lies in
How do you tell a forest it will fall?
When we lay waste to the earth and burn one and all
How do you tell a man, at the end, on the side of a bridge
There is nothing after, this is all there is.
