How Great Thou Art - Poem by Louise Myers

I praise You Lord for all You do,
There is not one that compares with You,
Everything about me, You already know,
You're always near wherever I go,
As we talk together I sense You so near,
You are my comfort, I need not fear,
As the doctors prepare to work on this heart,
My mind is singing, 'How Great Thou Art, '
I will sing to You through the whole ordeal,
I can feel Your presence so strong and so real,
I know You'll be hovering over what must be done,
So I'll peacefull rest in Jesus, Your Son,
Give this same peace to my family too,
As they wait and pray looking to You,
I praise You now for You are my King,
'How Great Thou Art, ' forever I'll sing.

A touching poem for facing such a tough ordeal. Nice flow and rhythm; great faith exhibited. (Report) Reply
