How Long Mother
Mother, I'll go out today,
Do you remember,
How long I have been here in the house?
That tree which I had drawn before lockdown,
I don't know, how that is now.
The birds that I had drawn
With only black
Do they live still on that tree?
I wish to know that, mother,
I wish to go out there.
Will you not allow me mother?
How long have I to stay indoor?
How long will the tree, the birds, the playing meadow, the sky...
Will be afar?
How long mother?
Loneliness is pestering Desire to stretch arms again But the air out is still having germ A blood group are prone to catch soon Prevention is better than cure Your life will make you witness many more What is better, lies in your own hands Loving oneself opens vast experience To admire the beauty of nature A little more perseverance Will reward great.
