I’m writing this to tell you
How much you mean to me
You are a true and honest friend
And now I finally see
I know over the years
I haven’t been so kind
And I know this for a fact
Because I have been blind

I know we’ve had our moments
Both good times and bad
But thinking of life without you
Makes me unusually sad
Of course there were those times
When we both didn’t act our age
But we have overcome all that
WOW!
We should be on the front page

Now after 5 years
Of trying to find
Every single flaw
I have found nothing
Not a single mistake
And now I finally saw
You are the one
And the only one
That is perfect for my dad
And when I see you two together
My heart and soul feels glad

Thank you for opening my eyes
And teaching me to see
And Thank you for always being there
This is how much you mean to me
