How To Fix A Precious Broken Thing Poem by Rachel Henley

How To Fix A Precious Broken Thing

How to fix a precious broken thing,
Melt the pieces that won't fit,
and we can mould the shapes we want to create.
Keep what we need, discard what we don't.
Paint inside unused rooms,
redecorate, overused places.
Make love the centrepiece,
and have hope for the light against the shade.
Also, don't forget a splash of time.
