Huge Poem by John Bowyer

Huge

The time is near
your faint whisper
drifting in my ear

Rejection rage
transforms into
confection haze

Amber green eyes
are the spark
to a wild ember
dancing in the dark

I feel the heat
but can’t see
through the flame
