I am only human and limited
I wonder why life is taken for granted
I hear the wind's woeful whistle
I see the days whip by
I want time to slow down but
I am only human and limited
I pretend that my worries are in a bubble - distant and far
I feel the bubble burst
I touch they days of tommorow
I worry that tommorow will never come
I cry about the human losses and devestations but
I am only human and limited
I understand that life is a gift even if it is not wrapped with a bow tie
I say that my choices guide the direction of my life
I dream about children in Africa, Indonesia, and Afghanistan
I try to do my best
I hope to make a difference but
I am only human and limited
