Human Nature Poem by Brandon Vasquez

Human Nature

Many times people hit depression,
Depression then turns into aggression
That releases on others giving the wrong impression
That turns into a hard lesson.

It's a horrible cycle that we face,
I want to forget the pain,
Can't it just be erased then replaced?
Anything is better,
Then this weight the people and I carry together.
Raw emotions make our hearts thicker than leather.

I want something we can treasure,
Nothing we can measure,
In dollars or time.
Something forever, something yours, something mine.
Something rare, something unique, something one of a kind.
