Humming Like You Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Humming Like You

Come on, O' hummingbirds
Come on and teach humming
I seek and beseech to meditate
Through humming like you do
To be near with the creator
Creator of the entire creation
That you're enjoying being with.

Tranquil, serene, calm and cool
Days and nights of the winter
With a glitter of due drops
Blowing throughout-
Dark night freezing winds
Till the misty morning
When, walking to wander about
Else, everyone is in sound asleep.

O' hummingbirds come on
I seek and beseech humming
To join with you, to meditate
Singing holy songs in praise
Echoing my joys and sorrows
Wintry feels to hum with you
Exalting beauties of Nature
Fascinating sights and sounds.

Cherishing those memories
Of golden days of childhood
Everything, used to be warm
Warm and hot inside-
Now, chilling and cold outside
Outside wintry in me-
Humming, Merry Charismas
To all my readers and friends!

What a combination
Of hums of hummingbirds
Dewdrops on green grass
Thereupon-
Falling of the Sun rays
Blowing of embracing breeze
Not so lucky, to stay aside.

How wonderful it is to play
To learn and to grow together
Celebrating glee of freedom-
With humming childhood mates
In a way and style with little birds.
