Hunger Poem by Sunday Sanda

Hunger is a natural phenomenon, the way whereby we feel starvation as a living.
The first stanza started with direct reference to jungle where the writer describe how the lion feed herself.For every living God has given us the authority in one way to the other, to use and find what we eat.We could see the clear picture of an Angry Hungry lion, this tells us how powerful hunger is over all thing.God's given authority to lion is her Urine which is magnetic in nature&any careless animal who fell victim will be eaten up by the Angry Hungry lion.Moreover we also make to understand that The animal'our cow' were delivered by Richard Turere, a 13years old kenya inventor, who made lion's light that prevent lion from eating cows in Kenya.Stanza two also started with a young hungry baby who was trying& screaming.Another allusion were also found in stanza 4&the last stanza, where the writer made the direct references to Kwashorko&Marasmus, disease cause by Pem from Malnutrition{lack of intake of nutrition&energy}.The deadly disease that are killing young children in Sumanian.The last stanza make a reference to biblical story of how Jesus feed Hungry large crowd of people.Jesus knew that the crowd was hungry for physical food as well as for spiritual truth. So he did perform a miracle there: by multiplying the food a boy offered - five pieces of barley bread and two small fish - into enough food to feed thousands of people. This famous miracle has come to be known as 'feeding the 5,000'.
