Hurtful Memories Poem by Nkwain Stephen

Hurtful Memories

Rating: 4.0

All the days
All the nights
I hear no sound
Only my footsteps echoe
Only my tear drops create some sounds
But where is she that vowed to be for me?

She is holding him tight, with no knowledge of my silent wounds
In far heavens, they whisper heart to heart
Not knowing I am the victim of their gain

Days have passed
Nights have passed
But those days with her stand still in me
As everything seems turning against me
I turn to my pillow, the lone knower of my tears

she said our industry was for eternity
And eternity has not come yet
But she left me wandering in darkness
Maybe I should wait for eternity?
But who knows what she is telling him now?
