Hush Poem by Karei Olson

Hush

Dark secrets hidden by lies
once happy skies shadowed in hateful eyes
Smiling face now streaked with dirt and tears
The sun grows colder and the truth nears
Hush are the cries that escaped her lips
No more is the feminine sway of her hips
Sharp is the blade of her new-found hobby
Dark is the blood that escapes her body.
